I directed my first short film, Trigger Warning, in August 2024 — a raw, intimate exploration of womanhood and trauma told through the lens of stand-up comedy. The project marked a turning point in my creative voice, bringing together my background in performance and cinematography to shape a story that is both personal and politically charged.

Since then, I’ve directed a few short-form documentaries, currently in post-production, that explore themes of displacement, resilience, and overlooked human stories. While cinematography remains my main focus, I genuinely enjoy stepping into the director’s seat from time to time — especially when a project resonates deeply with me or offers a fresh storytelling challenge.

As a director, I’m drawn to emotionally driven narratives, grounded visuals, and capturing honest moments — whether scripted or unscripted.
